Launch crowdfunding campaign for the world’s first wireless Christmas lights during the hugely overcrowded holiday season. Although the product itself was incredibly timely considering the top-of-mind Christmas season, this is also the time of year when larger companies introduce their newest products and invest in strong marketing campaigns to boost sales.

With the Kickstarter campaign running from Thanksgiving through Christmas, we did research to find out the average person’s key pain points surrounding ordinary Christmas lights. From tangled lights, to fear of fires, broken bulbs, saving money on Christmas lighting bills, and seeking a really cool product that will make owners the envy of the neighborhood, we uncovered key insights that resonated with the vast majority of people who celebrate the Christmas holiday.

Results & Metrics

eRing doubled their campaign funding goal, raising nearly $100K.

Received accolades and attention from top-tier media outlets including Mashable, CNET, TechCrunch, Slate, Gizmodo, Geek.com and more resulting in over 200 million media impressions during the 60 day campaign duration
